Zilog are using Xinu as the reatl time OS on their eZ80 development kits and
CPU modules. I bought one hence my interest in Xinu.
Does anyone know of any other successes in porting Xinu (probably
pre-version 2) to embedded microprocessors or microcontrollers?

Shaun
I know of two commercial SDK's based on Xinu, one of which is still in
production. A credit card terminal developed by Datatrol (Hudson, MA
which merged with IVI Checkmate, which was then bought by Ingenico)
used an 8088 or 80188 CPU and a customized Xinu kernel. It used the
Borland C++ 4.5 or 5 compiler. We were told to make final buys last
summer, but later found that the terminal was still available, at
least in limited quantities.
Systech Corp has a line of terminal servers labelled RCS/X000 that use
Xinu on a 68EN363 CPU with the GCC as a cross-compiler. X ranges from
3 to 6.

Thanks for your reply.

This is very interesting as I am looking at a possible port the 68332 for a
servo motor controller.
I've got the Mac version of the book (about 1988 vintage), do you have any
idea where to get the source code (to save me typing it in). I've done
plenty of Googles but cannot locate it, usually just dud links.
