Your heap is defined at system initialization time as the unused memory
between the end of the loaded vxWorks image and the top of memory. This
is sometimes referred to as the system memory partition.

If, for some reason you come into some additional memory after system
initialization you can use memAddToPool to add it to the system memory
partition. memAddToPool() is well documented in the fine manual set
that is distributed with your licensed copy of vxWorks.

memShow() can be used to view the condition of the heap, but there
are some caveats on its use. Once again consult your manual set.

memShow() would show the memory usage
memAddToPool() with this one could add memory to the system pool
memPartAddToPool( ) would add to a specific memory partition
