I am getting the following error if I exec the ls "/ata0a"

The disk (DiskOnChip IDE Pro 128MB, m-systems) is formatted on windows
2000 Microsoft Windows 2000 [Version 5.00.2195]in FAT.
FAT32 also gives same kind of error.
Any inputs from similar experiences welcome,
Thanks in advance,
Srinivas
The NT format probably doesn't necessarily maintain the bootSector,
I'm not sure. When that's the case, you won't be able to mount it.
KOkon.
Now I am able to mount the ATA device (M-systems Disk On chip and
samsung Hard disk) and create, read, write file on the disk.
The problem is with the Compact flashes Sandisk 32MB and Toshiba 32MB
that I am not able to write, read or create files, there is a cache
error. Even if I reduce the size of the cache, it gives the same
error.
Any experiences dosFS on compact flashes and the differences with the
DOC/HDD
Pls put you valuable comments....
