Giant petai fruit or the Latin name Entada fruit was recently discovered in Banjarnegara, precisely in the Pringamba Nature Reserve, Sigaluh District, Wonosobo Region Conservation Resort Area.

At first glance, Entada fruit has a physical shape similar to petai fruit. It's just that it is 4 times larger than ordinary petai fruit. The seeds of the entada fruit are also different from the petai fruit, even more like the jengkol fruit.

According to the head of the conservation resort for the Wonosobo BKSDA Central Java region, Adi Antoro, entada fruit is a wild plant that lives in nature reserves.

It is estimated that the fruit tree has lived for a long time. the party emphasized that the entada fruit is not for consumption.

In the nature reserve area so far there is only 1 entada tree.

His party together with the community around the nature reserve will make efforts to protect this rare tree.
