EDT for MS-DOS

I have been away for about 3 years, but I remember a thread then about
getting EDT (and/or a VMS "shell") for MS-DOS. Now that I am back VAXing
again :-), it sure would be nice to have at home. Any help? TIA

JED emulates EDT's full screen mode under MSDOS, OS/2, Unix, and VMS.
It can also emulate Emacs, Wordstar, and the Brief editors.
It is freely available via ftp from space.mit.edu in pub/davis/jed.

EDT+ from Boston Business Computing is the product you are probably
thinking of. They also offer VCL, a DCL-like shell for DOS and Unix.
I purchased EDT+ a few years ago and have found it a joy to work with.
It's very close the Digital EDT. There are a few enhancements and a few
features missing but I find that, for the most part, I don't miss them.
I've used VCL under DOS and have found it gives a reasonable
emulation, given the underlying O/S it has to work with. I understand
that it's also available under Unix but I have never run it under Unix.

for MS-DOS, as well as UNIX and Windows. EDT+ includes many
EVE/TPU features and all three editing modes (KEYPAD, LINE, and NOKEYPAD).

I have been using EDT+ from Boston Business Computing, Ltd (508
725-3222) and like it very much.
