I don't suppose anyone would be kind enough to link me to the ISO? HP wants $$$ and I'm just a hobbyist playing around with free servers!

I tried and contract validation was still required for the system firmware. Some peripheral firmware did not require validation.

Is it the same for the RX2600?

In any case, I could be interested in that one.

The rx2600 firmware is freely downloadable. But very old (2009).

The RX2600 spec sheet:

https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/c04140930

is dated 2006.

So, 2009 might be newer.

In HP(E) times firmware for the rx2660 was also distrubuted als OpenVMS
patch kits. The latest one I know of was for sytem FW 4.32/BMC FW
05.26/MP FW F.02.26/PDH FW 50.07/UCIO FW 03.0b. It is easy to install
these FW updates as OpenVMS patch, however, the system disk is not
allowed to be a shadow set. It should also be installable on VSI
versions of OpenVMS. Please contact me for further information:

Did you have any success in obtaining that update?

I would be interested as well.
