Where can I download a file that I can expand to unix/linux man pages in
html form?
Thanks for any help,
Jim

Find a copy of nroff for Windows and make copies of all your man pages
on your Windows file system. If you also have a web server and perl you
can get man2html - it's on the internet. Or get U/Win - it's on the net,
too. Don't know how a Windows user can do without it, in fact.

Don't know how linux manpages are going to help with Solaris, tho. You
might install ab2 which has a webserver interface at port 8888.

Man page html file set, where can I get?:
You have the AnswerBooks such that they will display on
a web browser in HTML. The AnswerBooks themselves are
not HTML....according to the AnswerBook documentation
and inspection of the files.
man2html can generate HTML from standard man page formats
on the fly, or you can convert them in batch to HTML
[the latter task I am sure could be done better with
less PITA with another tool, but man2html CAN do it
with a bit of help from a front-end script.]
They're also available on Sun's web site.
Another good resource is www.freebsd.org They've got searchable man
pages for a number of flavors of unix on their site.
