If you already have an earlier version of Solaris installed,
you can do an 'upgrade' install. You cannot, for example, install
Solaris where you had some other OS and retain the files that are
already there.

If I were you, I would do a very carefull, full backup before starting
down this path, because all sorts of things can go wrong.
