IEEE Computer Society
Technical Committee on Microprocessors and Microcomputers (TCMCOMP)
Technical co-sponsorship by the
IEEE Technical Committees on
High-Speed Networking (TCHSN)
Communications Switching and Routing (TCCSR)

The international forum where the high-performance computing and high
speed networking communities meet.

--

Hot Interconnects is the premier international forum for researchers
and developers of state-of-the-art hardware and software architectures
and implementations for interconnection networks of all scales,
ranging from on-chip processor--memory interconnects to wide-area
networks. This yearly conference is very well attended by leaders in
industry and academia. The atmosphere provides for a wealth of
opportunities to interact with individuals at the forefront of this
field.

We are seeking proposals for tutorials to be given at the 14th IEEE
Symposium on High-Performance Interconnects (HotI 14). Tutorials
should be relevant to high-speed switching and networking, or be of
significant interest to attendees of HotI. Tutorials are typically
1/2 day, but full day tutorials will be considered.

Themes include cross-cutting issues spanning computer systems,
networking technologies, and communication protocols. In particular
contributions are solicited on:

* Storage Area Networks (SANs)
* Networking Aspects of Grid Computing,
* Cluster Interconnects based on Proprietary and LAN Standard
protocols and architectures
* High Speed Networking

SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

* Express your interest in delivering a tutorial by replying to this
message ASAP; this is encouraged before a full proposal is
submitted

* Full tutorial proposals are due by June 15th 2005, consisting of a
500-word abstract, an outline, and a speaker bio

* Submit your proposal in PDF format to Luca Valcarenghi:
