Is there a way to pass args like fs, auth, sysname, nvram, whatever to
/boot/boot in 9vx?

Yes and no. Out of the box, I'm pretty sure there isn't,
however, a while back as part of supporting native Plan9
partitions, I added some support for plan9.ini. I've got
some instructions and old patches somewhere on:

(I can't be more specific at the moment, because I can't
get to my own web pages at the university through the
proxy at work. Yep, the level of paranoia is nothing
short of mind-boggling. But if you can't find it, I'll
