I've just come into possession of a Pentium 4 1.48 GHz machine with:
1. 768 Mb of RAM,
2. NVIDIA GeForce3 video card,
3. SAMSUN DVD-ROM,
4. TDK DVD/CD writer,
5. 3Com Etherlink 10/100 PCI NIC and
6. Win XP Pro installed in NTFS file system on a 40GB hard IDE drive

I plan to add a second hard drive and install OS/2 Warp 4 in a logical
partition on that drive and I am interested in knowing of any problems I
might face and would appreciate any advice you might be able to offer.
In particular:

Will the NTFS file system on the first hard drive be a problem? I seem
to recall that the partition identifier in the partition table for NTFS
is the same as HPFS (Hex 07). Does this cause any issues like Windows or
OS/2 thinking it recognizes either partition type and corrupts the one
it doesn't suppport? If it is a problem, how do you deal with it?

Are there any OS/2 NTFS drivers so that the NTFS partition will be
visible to OS/2?

Does Scitech Display Doctor handle NVIDIA GeForce3?

Are there OS/2 drivers for the NIC? If so, where can I get them?

What capabilities will I be able to get out of the DVD-ROM and DVD/CD
writer? I have gotten CD writing to work in OS/2 previously.

TIA
Jim

Assuming you mean SNAP, yes. See:

Well, you don't say which card, but you can check here:

http://3com.com/products/en_US/searchbyfile.jsp?path=download&sort=prodnum&fileid=5&prodcat=19&fname=&os=22916

but this might be a simpler choice: :)

Can't help you with your other questions, sorry!
