Warp 4 disk problem

Hi there,

I'm trying to install os/2 warp 4 on my ThinkPad R40e, but when trying
to boot I get this error (note: I'm using the danis506 1.6.7 ide
replacement drivers):

The R40e uses the Ali 5229 IDE controller revision c4 (found using
lspci under linux) which is listed as supported at:

I suspect it is my DVD drive, but to be honest I'm not really sure.
Would upgrading to the 1.6.8 drivers fix this do you think? Using the
IBM drivers results in pretty much the same problem (slightly
different error output)

Any ideas on what I could try?
