I read on the www.os2warp.be site that there are drivers available for
the Netgear MA401 wireless PCMCIA networking card. However, access to
the drivers on that site are password-restricted. I found a
refurbished model at the local Fry's (Bay Area) and am hoping that
someone can point me to these drivers, or share their copy with me. I
would like to be able to wireless-network the OS/2 partition on my
Thinkpad 770Z.

Thank you.

Normally I'd suggest to try asking on the OS/2 Wireless mailing list
but that appears to be down or defunct. Anyone know what happened to
the OS/2 Wireless mail list?

As to your question about the driver, I believe it is only available
to IBM Software Choice subscribers or registered eComStation users.
Unless you can get a beta version from the developer.

I heard from Lewis Rosenthal who runs the list. He is in the process
of replacing the mail server sometime within the next week. He's
going to check on why posts haven't come through on the list. So
maybe wait a few days and try subscribing to that list, as it is
monitored by the driver developer and also people who are successfully
using wireless cards under OS/2-eCS:

"To subscribe from this list, send a message to
ste...@2rosenthals.com with the command
"subscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body
(omit the quotes)."
