ATI and winos2 & dos seamless sessions problem

Anyone knows any way to get DOS & WinOS2 window session working with eCS with an ATI Radeon 9800 XT? This board, based in R360 chipset, is an excellent board to work with SNAP, excellent overlay, but has the problem with the not actualized VSVGA.SYS. I've already try load VSVGA.SYS with the parameters /PCITRAP=08-0F /PCITRAP=10-2F /PCITRAP=E0-F3 /PCITRAP-F8-FB /PCITRAP=100-113, individually and all together, without success. I've already try change DEVICE=x:\OS2\MDOS\VSVGA.SYS to DEVICE=x:\OS2\MDOS\VVGA.SYS, and what I get is a back screen sayng "Mode not Supported". Please, any other idea?

Try adding the switch:
/int10textgrfxsafe
to VSVGA.SYS in CONFIG.SYS and rebooting.

I had tried this setting before without success here but I just gave
it a try again and it did get rid of the unsupported mode message but
I just got either a black screen or a black screen with a flashing
cursor (which it probably did before) . I found it would accept text
input when I typed exit and hit enter. I tried the DOS video settings
with no success but then suddenly the size of the window changed. I
typed mode co80,25 and it went back to normal size and I could see the
screen. I added mode co80,25 to the bottom of autoexec.bat and now my
DOS prompt is working fine on a Thinkpad W500 (using the Intel video
chipset as Panorama isn't able to drive the ATI side properly). So
even though it is launching in what appears to be a normal mode
window, I am having to explicitely set mode to view the text in the
window.

One other piece of information... if I switch the window to Full
Screen then I have to run mode co80,25 again to see text input though
Full Screen by itself has worked all along. None of the DOS video
settings have seemed to affect this.

I'm really disappointed. Nothing changed with /int10textgrfxsafe switch. I tried MODE co80 in AUTOEXEC.BAT too and nothing. I tried with Panorama too and the same thing.

There are no doubt. Incompatibility with ATI Radeon chipset and nothing works. At this moment, I put a Nvidia Quadro4 NVS 64MB board in place of Radeon X800 and all works without any parameter. No problem with DOS or winos2 windowed sessions.

Well, I have to choose between video performance, hardware overlay from Radeon XT800 or seamless sessions... :-(

mode co80,25 was needed here after /int10textgrfxsafe got rid of the
error. Did you try it in combination with the other parameters you
had already mentioned? Unfortunately the vsvga had to be updated
often by IBM for each ATI chipset but IBM had stopped by the time the
X800 was out.

For information update only. With AMD (ex-ATI) Radeon 6850 (one of the 6800 Series cards), Win-OS2 seamless works, with or without, suggested parameters in VSVGA.SYS in ArcaOS 5.0. DOS window sesssion still is the black window. At least, Win-OS2 seamless,problaby the more used, works now!
