Hi, I recently got a Adaptec 2940u controller and
put it in my PC in hopes of getting a new SCSI HD.
To test it I attached an older Seagate ST41200N 1GB drive and loaded
the OS/2 2940u drivers,. The computer also has a IDE boot drive. The SCSI
drive shows as drive "D", and when I run FDISK, I only see drive "C".
I have Warp 3 no fix packs, and am
not sure why I don't see drive "D" with FDISK. I can copy
move FILES ETC. do everything else with "D" except see it with FDISK.
Please what am I doing wrong or what do I need to do?

Thanks, Sam

In case you aren't familiar with FDISK (else I have no suggestions):

FDISK (and PMFDISK) shows only the partitions off a single physical
drive at a time. Look at the top line of the FDISK screen and you may
see "disk 1 2 3" etc.

As I recall, you use the TAB key to toggle between the drive selection
line and the partition selection area of the screen. When at the drive
selection area, use the arrow keys to select the physical drive.

Good luck.
