scsi card manufacturers fallen by the wayside

it looks like few of the scsi card makers are "not there any more". :(
Tekram seems to have been brought out, and so is LSI logic.

Well, since there are almost no SCSI disks available any more and SATA

is by far sufficient for home use this is not that unexpected. Consumer
class adapters are just obsolete. And the professional controller
manufacturer are still alive and switched to SAS, i.e. SCSI over SATA cable.
