I got some drivers for the crystal sound chip set from www.pcco.ibm.net
and have sound but it only emulates the microsoft sound system.
I have an IBM PC750-P90 at work (32MB ram, 540MB hd, NEC 2X,
Diamond Viper PRO (??, its got the -9100 chip). Anyway, Warp works beautifully
on this system except that I have no sound. IBM tech support has not been able
to figure this one out yet either. BTW, it has I believe the business audio--
it's built in to the motherboard. I have tried every logical driver with every
logical setting with no luck.
Any ideas?

I've been through this one. There are proper drivers. Maybe I can arrange
to get them to you, because I don't recall the FTP address where I got them.
In fact, I recall that the tech support person I talked to had to make
arrangements to get them on the network so that I could download them.
As far as tech support is concerned, it really depends on who you get. I
got lucky; the person I talked with was first rate.
Question: did your machine come preinstalled with Warp? Was the sound
working then? The sound will not work if you install from shrink-wrapped
Warp.
Do you have an FTP site where the drivers can be sent?
Check if there's an Interrupt conflict. I have a PC750 6885-4CH (PCI/SCSI
P-90) and I my PCI lan card took caused my SCSI board to remap to int_10,
which is MANDATORY for business audio.
Go into the Setup Screen during RAM count (F1 I believe during RAM check).
PC-700 setup screen Setup:
ISA Legacy:
- int_10 make Not Available (reserve it for business audio)
Business Audio:
- int_10 required (thus make it unavailable for plug/play)
PCI Auto Lansteamer:
- requires to int_11
SCSI-2 PCI:
- default is int_11
change to int_? after PCI AutoLanstreamer is installed
post or email if it fails once Business Audio is set for int_10..
