SysInfo/2 project (http://www.os2.ru/projects/sysinfo/indexeng.shtml)
updated up to ver. 0.60. Here is a list of corrected errors:
- On Network page an error was corrected in determine multiple protocols for
one card. ;-))
- On Network page - now an IP address and Net Mask are shown in tree view
for all adapters if TCP/IP is bound to them.
- If IP address is obtaining over DHCP - now it will be shown
(experimental - will work only if TCPIP 32 bit stack is installed. The
information is received via TCPIP32.DLL ioctl() call )
- "EListError" during startup on some systems - corrected, now if SysInfo/2
is unable to open NIF or Protocol description file - user will be prompted
about it.
- ETC, IBMCOM and MPTN path detection algorithm improved.
- Fixpack level corrected for KERNEL ver. 14.045 and higher.
- New Video adapters are added (almost all known S3 chips).
- And also many, many bugs and some misspelling are corrected too.

I am interesting in beta testing phase, so, please, I you find some errors -
try to send me an error description and a screenshot, if possible.
Also, I ask thouse people, who use OS/2 on systems with Trident, nVidia,
Avance Logic, #9 and so on video with *NATIVE* (not SDD or GRADD) drivers to
test my program. Also I am ineteresting in testing SysInfo/2 on new CPU's
(VIA/Cyrix MIII, Pentium III & 4, AMD Athlon&Duron and so on).

My program is available to download from
Homepage(http://www.os2.ru/projects/sysinfo/indexeng.shtml) and from Hobbes
(Now in /pub/incoming and next will be moved to /pub/os2/util/system/).

Best regards, Alexey Smirnov.

It gives me a "Critical Error" window

'05x' is not a legal integer value at $000104A5 !

Then gives me a choice to terminate program.

If I continue the system freezes requiring 3 finger salute!

I got the same kind of error message: the $xxxxxxxx value might have
been different, but the 05x was the same. I never had to do the 3-finger
salute.

I have a Matrox Millennium G400MAX and am using the Matrox drivers, not
Scitech.

This computer system uses IBM's OS/2 Operating System (Warp 4.5), the

plague the Microsoft "Window's open; come right on in and do whatever
you want with my computer" operating system and applications.

Dear friends!
I recieve many reports about error like "'05x' is not a legal integer
value at $000104A5 !
" or something silmilar.
Please, note that this is not a bug in my code. The fact is that you
install *new* KERNELs (build higher than 14.045) from TESTCASE. So, Theseus
API can't work with that KERNELs and return something strange into my
program.
What can we do? We shell wait for IBMers to bring us new FixPacks: #15
for Warp 4.0 and #2 for WSeB "Aurora". I think, that that fixpacks must have
similar KERNEL build. Also, we shell wait for IBMers for new Theseus, that
would work with thouse future KERNELs.

Now, SysInfo/2 ver. 0.60 +Thesesus0.dll + Theseus5.sys (build 3.903.00)
are tested and *must* work with Warp 3.0(All FixPacks), Warp 4.0 - Warp
4.0+FixPack#14, WSeB "Aurora" - WSeB "Aurora"+FixPack#1.
All KERNELs form TESTCASE (build higher than 14.046) are incompatible with
Theseus 3.0.0. build 3.903.00 and SysInfo/2 will not work with them.

Best regards, Alexey Smirnov.

Sorry! I am wrong!
This is really my error. The fact is that postfix KERNELs from TESCASE
contain "#IBM:14.05X#" string that SysInfo/2 interprited as KERNEL build
level. So, my program can't convert "05X" into integer type.
Now I'll working for correct this bug and today or, may be tomorrow
I'll publish new SysInfo/2 build (ver. 0.62).

Best regards, Alexey.
