MDOS & PEER Problem

I am running Warp 4.5 FixPack 2 with TCP/IP & NetBIOS over TCPIP
When I start a DOS or WINOS2 session, my system hangs if the PEER
service is running.
If I stop PEER, both function correctly without a system freeze.

I have tried to remove DOS TCP from CONFIG.SYS without any change to
the behavior (e.g. I REMarked all the MDOS & VDOS lines.)
This started after reconfiguring MPTS because my SMB connections were
failing after a Linux upgrade.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
