Haven't seen it posted yet, but WebExplorer Beta Version 0807 is out.
This version supports HTML 3.0 standards (ie. Backgrounds and Tables)

You can find this upgrade on Hobbes or get it from the OS/2 Internet
Apps Page at http://www.phoenix.net/~vccubed/os2apps.html From this
page you can download WebExplorer from my site also if hobbes is full
or down.

Hope this helps,

Keith

Why isn't this one available from ftp01.ny.us.ibm.net:/pub/WebExplorer/ ?
Where did you get it? Did it just appear in hobbes-incoming?

I posted this information on the OS2BBS of IBMLINK/MARTLINK and someone
from IBM warned that this version should not have been released outside
of IBM. It has problems. I downloaded but have not tried it yet.
So it is nice to have it, but be careful.

Perhaps it was leaked by someone who wanted to silence the critics who
kept asking for backgrounds and tables. (To show that they were indeed
working on them, if nothing else.)

Works. Has some problems. But it's quite usable. A definate
improvement. (Seems faster at times...handles HTML 3.0 stuff to
some degree.)
