Job Title: Senior VoIP Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Client: Seattle Children's Hospital

Job Summary: Client is seeking a talented individual who will design, implement and support the Cisco enterprise voice

platform. You will provide additional support of associated systems including, Amtelco Definity, Red Alert, Web on Call and

NICE voice logger. You will provide day to day administration, operation, troubleshooting and support for an advanced voice

network system that could involve multi-vendor systems using a common advanced communications core.

Job Duties:
-Will consult with leadership to develop and maintain business critical communications and/or network-based voice product

systems.
-Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing scalable local and wide area network solutions between multiple

platforms and protocols.
-Responsible for system performance, troubleshooting voice issues and coordinating installation efforts with appropriate

vendors.
-Guide and mentor other voice engineers as well as work with other consultants and analysts in a cross team capacity
-Serve as the resource for IS, user and vendor personnel and will provide counsel and advice to leadership on matters of

voice system design and architecture.
-Develop solutions that best align with enterprise voice network requirements, identifying cost-effective implementation and

long term support strategies.

Skills / Qualifications:
-Expert knowledge of, and experience in, converged technologies including TDM and IP voice, UC messaging and data networking.
-In-depth knowledge of network design and voice systems, including all levels of Cisco switches and routers, Avaya Definity

G3, Cisco Unified Communication Manager, Dial plan configuration and routing, SIP, H232, PRI and WAN protocols.
-Strong knowledge of voice and data network copper and fiber cabling infrastructure in a multi-campus environment
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of

the organization.
-Able to remain focused and effectively adapt to rapidly changing environment and respond quickly to emergency situations.
-Able to establish and maintain effective work relationships, interacting and maintaining a strong sense of teamwork and

collaboration.

Education / Experience:
-Minimum 5 years’ professional experience.
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associates degree or less acceptable with additional experience.
-Cisco certification in one or more of the following: CCVP, CCNA, CUCM, CME or CUO.
