He appears to be in a posting frenzy. He probably worried that
fewer people were seeing his ravings because of their twit
filters, so got someone to change his headers so his messages
would bypass those filters.
Many of his recent posts are less coherent than normal, possibly
as he struggles to keep up the flow of FUD, in response to those
who are taunting him. Perhaps more people are replying to his
nonsense in hopes he continues to work himself up, possibly
leading to a heart attack or committal to a mental institution.
Either way, it would be good riddance.

Yeah, the GA release of eCS v1.1 has been 'pending' now for more than ten
months and no one can provide an official release date. For the last ten
months Serenity and their salesmen have been promising "soon, buy it today
and we'll give it to you soon...".
And when is "soon"? Answer: "Soon is when we say it is."
Why don't you eCS freaks take these ridiculous and illegal eCS spam
advertisements to the eCS newsgroups and leave the OS/2 community alone?

I think that the most realistic release date that could be stated is:
"When Kimmy and Boob get all the suckers lined up then eCS will be ready
for sale!"
They know that it will build demand with their private audience of nut
cases to put off selling it, knowing full well they will suck up
whatever rubbish Serenity System decides to publish. I can't image any
user in their right mind would give money those shysters, I don't care
what they promised.

As I am not serenity systems I can't say when. Are you that excited
about its release you need to have an exact date?

Warp City's Private Site consists of OS/2 users who only use OS/2. They don't use
WinOS/2 or DOS but rely entirely on OS/2. I don't know how much more "OS/2" you can get.

You don't have to buy today you can wait till it's released. Sure lots
of companies have pre-orders.

Software release dates change all the time. Usually when when software
goes gold then they announce the

release date has been
announced. I know you are as anxious as I am to get a new release but
you have to be patient.

Again there is no misuse eCS is based on Os/2. Get that through your
head. Serenity did not
build this product from the ground up. It's os/2 with a different
branding. If you use red hat
or SUSE you are still a linux user.

(Sidenote: I've been using LGX on the desktop since 1999, and sofar I've
done a kernel compile exactly _once_ , just to see what all the fuss was
about. The optimised kernel didn't make may machine noticeably faster, so
I've never bothered with it since. I do like having the option, though,
and I suppose the continuing survival of OS/2 might be a lot easier if the
sources were available).

could have booted into WinXP and did so only to prove it could be done alongside and
installation of OS/2. The demonstration was to write a guide for Warp City members who had
purchased the T30 and wanted the option of having both OS/2 and WinXP on the same system.

Read the post again. I wrote the guide for a group of T30 Thinkpad
owners who wanted instructions on how to install OS/2 alongside the
WinXP operating system their ThinkPad came with. IBM does not send a
set of Restore CDs with each laptop thus, had they wiped out their WinXP
installations they would have no way of getting it back . Without it,
the value of their T30's would be reduced unless sold to another OS/2
user (not a likely scenario - can YOU afford a top-of-the-line 1GIG
Pentium 4.2Ghz T30 Thinkpad? I didn't think so.) Addin the fact that
there is no LEGAL way of playing DVDs under OS/2 (and I stress LEGAL
here) and if a T30 owner wanted that option they would need to boot into
an operating system that provided such a legal functionality.

they stitched you up on this one: "Avion" means "aeroplane". It is not a
legal first name in France, where -- which of course you already know,

can be given to children.
