Additionally, will FP31 add this modification (DHCP) to MPTS? If so, I can
find no reference to DHCP. Again, this is OS/2 Warp Connect version 3.0 (not
4).

I assume these are the Corrective Service Facility tools. You might try using
the latest CSF utility, also available on that site. Look for WKICKR.ZIP on
http://www.cincyteamos2.org/masterupdate/masterupdate.html

I haven't installed FP31, but based on past experience, I doubt it. IBM
usually packages these fixes separately, and yes, this will add DHCP to
Connect.

This will start the DHCP client.
