Hi There,

I'm trying to install OS/2 Warp v4.0 on a Toshiba Satellite 4000CDS
Notebook, but the DOS and WIN-OS2 Sessions just give me a blank screen.
I suspected the videodriver and downloaded the latest drivers (C&T 65555
Chipset) but I can't install it because OS/2 doesn't allow COMMAND.COM
to check my configuration...
I talked to Toshiba support and they told me to buy an IBM Computer if
I wanted to run OS/2 :-(

Anyone have any ideas?

Just a thought, Is there some kind of virus detection thing set in
your BIOS?

I had no problems installing this driver on my son's Toshiba Tecra?
But, it's been a while (over a year) so I don't remember the details.
I would investigate further.

They told me that if I installed OS/2, it would void the warranty! I
invited them to put that in writing so I could show it to the DOJ --
no follow-up on their part...
