Java 1.4.2_b09 from Innotek hangs system

Hallo,

has anybody experienced the same ?
When I run a couple of java apps like for example the DHCP Server
Administrator (DHCPSCPS.CMD) and Java 1.4.2_09 takes precedence (in PATH
in config.sys) my system hangs to a point where only power-off will work
(mouse doesn't move any more, keyboard does not work).

Is there any workaround ?

Isn't Java 1.4.x not supposed to be in your %PATH%? Perhaps try removing
all references to Java 1.4.x from config.sys and use full paths to invoke.
