All of a sudden, my Fastback is not working. It gets to the point where
it asks if I want to erase old volumes on the tape, I select yes, and then
the WPS resets instead of the backup continuing. Any idea what's
happening? I'm at FP14.

I had a problem with FastBack/2 that tracked down to the DAT heads
being dirty...

If the DAT device is not "stable" during boot, the FastBack device
driver will not load correctly. I always reload the tape after the OS
has stabalized after a re-boot.

No SCSI - only IDE.
