Current Best DOS Distribution?

Hi.

I would like to know the best DOS distribution currently that is under
active development to replace MSDOS in terms of functionality,
compatibility and stability.

So far, the major distributions available are:
- FreeDOS (Open Source)
- DR DOS (Commercial license from SCO for embedded use?)
- OpenDOS (Appears to be no longer developed and have merged with DR
DOS)
- RX DOS (Open Source)
- PC DOS (Commercial)

Any comment?
