Greetings:
My working environment includes Novell and Windows 9x thru 2000
servers. Formerly, I have successfully used prn2file. I think
prn2file is a brilliant tool to redirect a print stream to a file. By
empirical analysis (IE. prn2file doesn't work) I have come to know
that running Novell client services requires a Novell friendly
solution. The CAPTURE command with a /CR {full target file path}
works quite well. My latest hurdle is that the target file is
overwritten with each new print stream as opposed to appended. Has
anyone overcome this hurdle with the Capture command?
Thank you!
Vicki

have you tried

capture /cr c:\temp\capture /na

to make sure the file is not closed after printing has completed?

just a longshot,

If Microsoft is the answer, then it
must have been a VERY silly question.
