I purchased this software 5 days ago, and have already found 4 bugs. I have
also found out from tech support that there is no program available for free-
updates for those that report such bugs. Microsoft fashion all the way.
Anyway, here's the bug. LINK v5.31.009 does not recognize VCPI memory on
my computer when in DESQView *UNLESS* it is called directly by ML.EXE. What
do I mean by this? I mean that if I use the command line:
ml file.asm
Then I get *NO ERROR*. However, if I use the lines:
ml /c file.asm
link file.obj@autlink
Then I get this error:
run-time error R6921
- DOSX16 : no expanded memory under VCPI host
Which is completel wrong because MSD.EXE v2.1 reports this:

There you go. Figure this one out for me. I'm going to test writing a
miniature EXEC.EXE file that will merely run LINK.EXE with command line
parameters. I am also going to try "command.com /c link.exe %1 %2 %3".
