I've just downloaded Winimage
and am trying to get to know the program.

Does anyone know why this happens:

Format drive A:
using
Standard format:
1.44 MB

results in this window

Disk error on track 1, head 0
Floppies do not match

A strange error message
as I have only one floppy drive
and have so far only used one floppy.

Kind regards

Perhaps it thinks the floppy isn't HD and can't be formatted 1.44MB.

I've found that WinImage can be picky about disks and throw up strange
errors that basically mean "the floppy's dead". Try another disk.

Thank you for your above input.
I've dropped 'winimage' and use 'dd for Windows' instead. It's a free
program.
I needed an application to copy bootable floppies to have reserve floppies,
should some of them get bad.
