Borland tools, at least their C compilers come with TOUCH.COM.
This allows you to change the timestamp of a file.

Both DR-DOS6 and Novell-DOS7 include the TOUCH command. I have
also seen it floating around as a separate PC Mag util, which
should not be hard to find, and which probably is the one you
recall from the olden days :-)

no spaces and remember to use the /b switch after 'copy' if a binary file (TFNP)
