I thought some of the older versions of DOS had a PARK command in
them. I seem to remember typing PARK and the dos prompt.

If you can do a little assembly language INT 13H, function 19h might (?) do
the trick. Else try the little uuencode com file below. It assumes that you
are parking the head on drive C. I tried it, but my driver does not
recognize the command. Either way, you will get a message if it worked or
not. Hope this helps.

A lot of them did, but it was usually the individual pc vendors &
companies like Compaq (Compaq DOS) who supplied it as an add-on.
