Hello,
Am posting this note to see if it's possible to have DJGPP build a binary from a UNIX source from https://www.gnu.org/software/wget ?

You'd need a networking library that works on plain DOS, otherwise it should
be fine. Maybe tcplib (from v2tk) should do, I don't know.

Are you looking for a newer version of wget? A pre-existing build
exists in the FreeDOS project
(https://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/repositories/1.3/pkg-html/wget.html).
I believe it was built against djgpp & WatTCP way back when.
