I'm cleaning up a Win98 PC, and came across the files c:\vdjk0c8d.exe
and c:\windows\applog\vdjk0c8d.lgc (the latter's content I've included
below).

After a full virus scan, and spyware removal, these files still remain,
and I can find no reference to them on the web.

Does anyone know what these are for? Thanks very much in advance.

A lot of malware out there is using random file names to evade the
scanners. You can be pretty certain that given the random name and
the location in the root directory that it's malware and safe to
delete.
