PC or Mac?
PC, I don't know.
Mac: I used Sound Tracker, and it exports to AIFF,
then you can convert to WAV with the freeware SoundApp.
My current MOD choice is PlayerPro: it exports to AIFF
(Stereo/Mono, 11 to 48 KHz etc.).
If you own a PC and you don't find a mod->wav converter,
try to find a friend with a Mac ;-)

PC: You can use Mod4Win, it has the option to use a WAV file for output.
Available at http://www.mod4win.com/
Beware, in Win 3.1 the shareware version saves the installation date in
the registration database! Be sure to backup REG.DAT before
installation, otherwise the program will stop working after 30 days.
Don't know about Win95.

how about just using the sharware verion for the 30 day trial period,
and if you like it and intend to continue using it then just buy it!
continuing to use programs after the expiration date is the same as

If you're on a DOS/W95 PC, Cubic Player will do it:
http://www.hamburg.roses.de/~ham00622/cubic/index.html

It takes a little fiddling, but it will convert MODs to WAV files.

Same thing in Win95, except it lets you play 1 song and then exits when you
try to do anything else.

Mac: PlayerPro can convert into AIFF, then you can convert AIFF to WAV with
SoundApp
PC: Cubic Player 1.7 or Mod4Win 2.30. CP is better choice, because Mod4Win
is shareware and stops working after the 30 days evaluation period.

As well as being free you forgot to mention GREAT, WONDERFUL and other
such grovel terms. Seriously folks, MODplug has to be seen and heard
to be believed and it just may help the MOD scene enormously...

If u use a PC ...try MOD4WIN 2.xx.
It has a "direct-2-disc recording" option.
It gives a 44.1Khz/16bit/Stereo .wav
It works great !

That's it...
