Scratch takes its name from a technique used by disk jockeys called "scratching", where vinyl records are clipped together and manipulated on a turntable to produce different sound effects and music. Like scratching, the website lets users mix together different media (including graphics, sound, and other programs) in creative ways by creating and "remixing" projects, like video games, animations, music, and simulations.[9][10]
Scratch uses event-driven programming with multiple active objects called sprites.[11] Sprites can be drawn, as vector or bitmap graphics, from scratch in a simple editor that is part of Scratch, or can be imported from external sources. Scratch 3.0 only supports one-dimensional arrays, known as "lists", and floating-point scalars and strings are supported but with limited string manipulation ability. There is a strong contrast between the powerful multimedia functions and multi-threaded programming style and the rather limited scope of the Scratch programming language.

You can use Docker's reserved, minimal image, scratch, as a starting point forbuilding containers. Using the scratch "image" signals to the build processthat you want the next command in the Dockerfile to be the first filesystemlayer in your image.
While scratch appears in Docker's repository on the hub, you can't pull it,run it, or tag any image with the name scratch. Instead, you can refer to itin your Dockerfile. For example, to create a minimal container usingscratch:
The only way I know to find them is by choosing Scratches in the Project tool window as described here: IntelliJ IDEA Help. This is painfully slow. Especially given that the whole purpose of a scratch is that it is a quick place to store something.
You can use File > New > Import Module from Existing Sources... on the existing directory where Intellij keeps the scratch files. This will create a "scratches" module in your project, which forces indexing of its contents. In my case, they're in C:\Users\jacob.hanson\.IntelliJIdea2019.1\config\scratches. You can find the full path by right clicking an existing scratch file in the project view and choosing Show in Explorer.
Wash cat bites and scratches well with soap and running water. Do not allow cats to lick your wounds. Contact your doctor if you develop any symptoms of cat scratch disease or infection.
CSD is caused by a bacterium called Bartonella henselae. Up to 30% of cats carry B. henselae in their blood, although most cats with this infection show NO signs of illness. Kittens younger than 1 year are more likely to have B. henselae infection and to spread the germ to people. Kittens are also more likely to scratch and bite while they play and learn how to attack prey.
Cats can get infected with B. henselae from flea bites and flea dirt (droppings) getting into their wounds. By scratching and biting at the fleas, cats pick up the infected flea dirt under their nails and between their teeth. Cats can also become infected by fighting with other cats that are infected. The germ spreads to people when infected cats bite or scratch a person hard enough to break their skin. The germ can also spread when infected cats lick at wounds or scabs that you may have.
The phrase up to scratch has its origins in the world of sports. In the 18th century, scratch began to be used for a line or mark that served as the starting point in a contest or competition. In order to begin or continue a fight, for example, a pugilist would "come up to the scratch," positioning himself at a line drawn across the prize ring. Up to the scratch was soon being used figuratively of anyone who was ready and able to do something. Over the years, the usage of the phrase has evolved somewhat, but something that is "up to scratch" can still be said to be ready and able in that it is capable of functioning or performing as expected.
