TO EVERY BODY ASKING WHAT KIND OFF DIFFERENCE
8 meg TO 16 meg

I just add 8 more meg for a total of 16 on my 486 dx4 100.

It make a very very clear difference. My HDD is quiet and every
thing is faster.

He means quiet as in
Cowboy #1 : "Things sure are quiet..."
Cowboy #2 : "Yeah, TOO quiet".

I too recently upgraded my machine with a 16mb 36bit 60ns 72pin SIMM.
It makes a massive difference over the old 8mb that was in it.
Applications work perfectly, no protection faults, animated cursors
are now plausable... and custom user settings work perfectly without
causing registry problems.

Upgrading to 16mb is a definate plus..

No kidding. I upgraded from 8 to 16 megs, and I would definitely say it's the
best investment for your money by far. My friend still uses 8 megs and
whenever we're on his computer, I am just amaized at how much slower it is.
And animated cursors, I didn't know they could be so bad w/8 megs.

I recently upgraded from 8 meg to 12, and even that has made a
tremendous difference. Really, Win95 isn't very happy in 8 meg RAM.
