Logging errors to Windows Event View

Hi,
I am writing an error logging mechanism for my program and would like
use windows Event viewer to view these error messages. I remember coming
across an article on logging application errors to Windows but jest
can't remember the name of the magazine. Could someone point me to that
magazine or some other sources?

There is an excellent book on event logging published by O'Reilly Press. I
believe the title is simply, "Event Logging in Windows NT". I've used it myself
and found it highly useful.
