The question therefore is, "What is Service"?</div><div></div><div></div><div>Now from the Ancient of days to the present, God remains changeless in his covenant with man. He is a covenant keeping God. He means what he says and he says what he means. He has given us access to divine fortunes without struggle and to a world of unmerited favor. which is what any other employer cannot offer to their employee. I call it "The Deal of Life". God is committed to fulfilling his promises as long as we are ready to serve him. Why then should we serve him?</div><div></div><div></div><div>One can decide to serve God in different ways depending on your area of calling. In fact, Serving God involves various activities that varies in different dimensions but pointing towards the same goal. For example, the sole aim of service is Soul Winning, which is what John 15:16 is trying to admonish. Therefore as Christians, we must understand that we are saved by the grace of God and at such, we are admonished to multiply the same grace that saved us (Eph 2: 8-10). That is, we are saved to save others. From the scripture, we can see that, we are saved to engage in good works. Good works here refers to replication or reproduction. Our salvation is by his grace not by our efforts. That is why he said in John 15:5, ' without me, ye can do nothing'. God who is the Great Shepherd has show us his grace for us to show the same shepherd-hood to others with the primary mission of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:18). In a short term; We are to win others to Christ through our Stewardship. Every believer is a ordained a soul winner. We don't need to bear the title, Evangelist, Pastor, Prophet or Apostle. He has called us and ordained us to carry out this task without permission from anybody from the day we became born again. Luke 10:27. If you don't yourself, you can't love your neighbor and if you can't show love to your neighbor, you cant claim you love God. this has to do with sharing or giving. And in this case, sharing the world of God to those around you who are unbelievers, giving to the less privilege, and leaving in a peaceful (Heb 12:14) and exemplary life. God loves a Cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:6-8). What will you gain if you do this? God said in his word in 1 Cor 2:9, "Eye has not seen, Ears has not heard, neither hath it enter the heart of any man, those things, I will do to those that loves me". In addition, God created mankind in order to walk in partnership with him.He created Adam and gave him a garden to dress.
