i am testing an api in postman that works fine. i am exporting it using the functionality in postman. the export language is curl. i am pasting it in the bubble api connector but it does not work. is there a process to easily transfer apis from postman to bubble?

Yes, the signature comes from postman. i try it in another tool and it works. but if i try it in bubble it does not work. below you can see the raw text, the api connector and the other tool so you can compare. i literealy copy and paste the same. i do not know what else to change to make it work!

The problem is not the authorization key since i copy it directly from postman and it works in req bin. For some reason the exact same code does not work in bubble.

I have figured out already how to generate the authorization key but i first need to make the call work

Hi Jaime i am struggling with the exact same issue on Bubble, the call in postman works and gives me a working signature that doesnt work on Bubble. I am copying the exact same body on postman and on Bubble.

If you want to use postman to get tokens for testing, you can temporarily turn on the password grant to exchange an email/password directly for tokens. Make sure you turn this off when you are done testing.

I am working on Xamarin forms application and trying to use the REST API of dropbox to upload files in dropbox and hence for testing i tried to make a postman call to upload files into dropbox, it seems to work on the API explorer of dropbox but on the postman it fails even though i pass all the required parameter as explained in the API explorer.

I will try to check with postman once again based on your comments thanks for the guidance, one more thing is reason why i tried to use the API and not the dropbox native client for xamarin is that when it i try to run the iOS project i get an exception which says Dropbox client not found, i guess i will raise a new ticket for that.

Did you include the KEY file on postman when adding the cert? I get a 400 No required SSL certificate was sent when the KEY file is missing. The key file should be the private key that was used to generate the certificate. You add it on the same page where you add the CRT file in Postman. Both key and cert should be added.

That has helped. I added both the crt and the key files to postman with only the crt file in the truststore on apigee. I now get a 400, but the response text has changed. The wireshark exchange is similar to what I previously explained. I will look here for solutions.

Can you please let me know I am getting client.cn as null although I am sending SSL certificate pem file through postman and I can see network TLS showing showing common name on postman, but throwing null on APIGEE. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Is there any documentation on how to send certificates to virtual host to read from SSL certificate details.

I also faced the same issue, but the trick was I implemented both the methods that were stated earlier in the stack.First I turned off the postman proxy as shown in below image.

I was not able to make any calls from postman to docker container running Couchbase Server. Very frustrating. Turns out I had proxy setting configured to some aws instance which has been long deleted.

If you have active proxy in your system then make sure Global Proxy Configuration and Use System Proxy are turned off. To do this go to Postman preferences > Proxy. You can also try sending a request in postman without typing localhost (e.g. :8080/send)

But for the past few days, I've been trying to do the same action either via postman or via lunix command line by doing a curl -X POST https:... and nothing works. As you said, maybe it's an authentication problem?

In this article, I'll explain how to use a Postman collection I have created to load test our instance of our test API. The process is pretty straightforward, as is shown below. You need to feed your exported Postman collection to our postman-to-k6 converter, and use the generated k6 script to load test your own API.

If you need more fine-tuning of your test (like we did above), like adding data or changing environment variables inside your code, just take a look at the Options section of the postman-to-k6 README.

We recommend you to use the converter as an easy way to onboard and then rewrite your scripts to idiomatic k6 code, as we believe it to be more maintainable and less likely to degrade over time. If you convert from postman collections continuously, however, and run the script output as-is, it might make sense to keep it as is.

In this article I've tried to give a quick introduction to Postman, the postman-to-k6 converter and our k6 load testing tool. All these tools combined can help you turn your API requests in Postman into k6 script in order to load test your API. Many of the Postman features are supported by the postman-to-k6 tool.

I recently had to get a new laptop at work and the only version available in our app store was 5.6.0. When I click on File, there is no longer an option to import postman collections. Is this not available in 5.6.0? Is this feature in a different location. I've triple checked in File and I don't see this option anywhere. Thanks!

Great example on getting up and running on MLE requests quickly in postman. Especially insightful was the fact that for encryption we needed the Server Encryption Certificate instead of the client certificate if generated via CSR.

the great thing about the Xwiki API is that you really can navigate down the tree in postman just by clicking links. So starting from :port/xwiki/rest/wikis/ you can just start clicking links until you reach :port/xwiki/rest/wikis/xwiki/spaces/Dashboard/spaces/API_Test_1/pages/WebHome/attachments.
