For some time now, I have been looking for tools to develop
software (graphical) for multiple platforms without /too much/
code revision and modification, however have not found anything
worth the while.

Could someone please suggest or point me to cross platform (GUI)
development tools or /useful/ information thereabout?

Thanks,

Why not go Java?

I strongly recommand Tcl/Tk, a script language from Sun. It
works under Linux, Win95 and WinNT (and maybe other systems...
dunno).
Problem is that it's not very fast, but you can solve the
real-time problems with embedded C.

Have a look at :

And there are interfaces to Tk that don't require Tcl - Scheme,
python, C++, perl, and others.

Try XVT, eXtensible Virtual Toolkit. It is a total GUI package that can
be compiled for DOS, Windows 3.x/95/NT, Motif, Open Windows, etc.

You can also look at IBM's VisualAge C++ compiler. It contains an
Open Class library that is portable over the following systems:
Windows 3.x (in Win32s), 95, and NT,
Motif and AIX,
OS/2.
They have 30-day free trial CDs that you can give a shot to.
