Is there some kind of documentation or some way to find out how to
call the functions in the MMSYSTEM.DLL or anyother standard Windows
DLL. The only function that I've successfully called has been the
sndPlaySound function but I'd like to get info on the rest of the
functions and find out what the second INT parameter of the
sndPlaySound function is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes of course there's documentation! You should have a multimedia help
file supplied with your compiler. Alternatively you can buy the Microsoft
Press books "Multimedia Programmer's Guide" and "Multimedia Programmer's
Reference".

I'm still using Borlan C++ 3.1 and I don't think that I have a help
file for that but I look to see if I can find one of those books.
Thanks.
