I have a code that runs fine as long as eithe Borland C++ for windows is open, -or- as long as the Resource Editor is open, but if neiter one of those is open, the program won't run. I can open either of those to after I have started my application and then everything works fine, and if I close them again, it doesn't work.
NOW, I will explain what I mean by 'works' and 'doesn't work'.
o doesn't work: There are a few menu items that don't respond. Putting in printf statements shows me that the function call that is made from within the case statement is getting passed over completely.
o works: The menu items respond and the dialog box containing check boxes and text fields come up and operate as expected.
Any suggestions would be very helpful
Thanks.

Obviously the message isn't getting through, so I'll start
posting the answer here.
BWCC.DLL is not being loaded. Use BWCCGetVersion(),
put BWCC.LIB in your PRJ and read section 5.2.6 of the FAQ.
