Hello,
can someone explain me waht Parameter 4 LPTSTR lpClass is ?
The VisualC++4.2 help says only:
lpClass
Points to a null-terminated string that specifies the class (object
type) of this key. This parameter is ignored if the key already exists.

I want to create a new key, but have no idea what to put in lpclass.
bye
Roland

Ignore it - it's a field that current implementations of Windows don't
use. It's for future expansion of the Registry. Pass an empty string -
ie "" - for this field.

lpClass is reserved for future use. Just pass NULL for now.

Should you pass NULL, Ray, or an empty string ("")? I've always done the
latter!

Either way is fine.
