My collegues and I recently argued about what is meant ny "forms"
as in "forms based applications." I would appreciate getting
your definition or comments on what do you think are "forms" and
how do they differ from "non-forms."

Thanks!

In my opinion, forms are modeless data entry windows. The controls visible on
the window are always the same (same as a data entry sheet on paper). It simply
is an electronic replacement of a form on paper.

Bye, Jan.

forms & documents are for quiche-eaters. Real programmers just
create windows and dialog boxes and use files. :)
