It's coming out in January. As for Win97, that's August 97

Office 97 has an official release date in January - I think its Jan 4.
Office 97 final is in the Warez groups though if you are _really_
desparate.
Windows 97 (Memphis) is in beta and due about August I think.

Office 97 has a US retail release date of January 16, or December if you
are a corporate subscriber. Memphis will enter beta testing in
early-to-mid 1997 with a release date of mid-1997 to early 1998 (current MS
projections).

www.microsoft.com mentions availability oif Office97 in your local
retailer from jan 16.

deep red lettering on predominately white cover.
