This is a regularly scheduled weekly posting, which explains how you can
obtain a copy of the various Microsoft Windows FAQ (Frequently Asked
Questions) lists.

The Windows [3.1] FAQ and Windows [3.1] Programmer FAQ (which unfortunately
have not been updated since 1994) are available from:
http://www.metrics.com/WinFAQ/

There are two separate Windows 95 FAQs; here are their locations:
http://www.primenet.com/~markd/win95faq.htm
http://www.kingsoft.com/qaid/
and along the same lines, the Windows 95 Annoyances FAQ:
http://www.creativelement.com/win95ann/

The Windows NT FAQ, by John Savill, can be found at:
http://www.ntfaq.com/ Primary site
http://www.metrics.com/NTFAQ/ Canadian mirror site

There is one Windows NT 3.51 FAQ; you can find it at:
http://www.iea.com/~daler/nt/faq/toc.html

There are also three other, specialized, Windows NT FAQs:
Windows NT Fax FAQ: http://www.mcs.com/~sculptor/NTFAX-FAQ.HTML
Windows NT Internet FAQ: http://www.mcs.com/~thomas/www/ntfaq/
Windows NT Security FAQ: http://www.it.kth.se/~rom/ntsec.html

The Windows NT tips and registry hacks FAQ is at:
http://www.jsiinc.com/reghack.htm

There are also several Winsock (Windows sockets interface) FAQs:
Alt.winsock FAQ: http://www.well.com/user/nac/alt-winsock-faq.html
Mastering the Internet: http://twig.hypercon.com/master.htm (*)
(*) temporarily unavailable

The WinHelp FAQ is maintained by Arthur Miller:
ftp://gmutant.wrlc.org/pub/winhelp/whfaq.hlp

Finally, it is frequently worthwhile to check Microsoft's knowledge base
for the questions as well. You can access this through the Internet at
http://www.microsoft.com/kb/

If you have no FTP access, you can obtain the FAQs using the
decwrl ftp mail server. For instructions, send a mail message to
ftp...@ftpmail.bryant.vix.com with a body containing simply:
help
You will receive a full set of instructions by return mail.
