In Win98 a person could run Fat32ebd.exe found in the tools folder. I
am thinking there is a similar operation for this version.

You can still use this disk or any Windows 98 Emergency Startup Disk.
If you do not have such a disk, but your PC can boot off a CD, start
the Windows ME Setup on this way.

That should work, Iron. OEM-CDs are bootable, so you do not need to
change the CD (what is impossible, since it can not be rewritten).
Change the boot order setting in the CMOS-Setup, so that your PC boots
off the CD.
