Info on beta testing?

    I've been running Win98 Beta 3 Build 1681 for some time now. I'll admit that I am NOT an authorized beta tester but would like to be in the future. I am a service technician for a local computer retailer and like the opportunity to experience what I will be working with and what kind of questions will be coming down the pike.

    I've been reading this newsgroup for a while and still have not found any way to become an authorized beta tester. I've looked through the Microsoft web site to no avail. 

    Could anyone steer me in the right direction on this? 

 

    P.S. - After 1 month of running 1681, no serious problems reported here. One bug though. I have ICQ Net Detect running. When I click on the Internet Explorer icon (from the task bar) IE fires up along with dial-up networking. After connecting to my ISP, everything locks up. I have to connect first then launch IE. Seems that with IE and ICQ both wanting modem access at startup they seem to lock the system. Easy work around though.
