Wasn't there suppose to be a Service Pack #2 release for Windows 95?
This being in addition to OSR2, ie a version without FAT32 for general
home users. I am wondering if Microsoft abandoned this.

Any ideas?

Microsoft _SHOULD_ release it but it looks as if they have been resting
again....
Only time will tell...

The OEM SR2, has been released! The only way and I mean ONLY way to get
it, is when you purchase a NEW computer from a vendor, and they Pre-install
Win95 on it for you, the new SR2 is installed. That is why it is called
OEM SR2, only available through an OEM computer purchase:) The new
features are great, but unless you are a computer junkie, like me:), you
won't really notice a difference, except for the new 32 bit FAT..

just a little info on the OEM SR2.

zi was talking about the Service Pack, not the Service Release.
